Ever since Lone Star Stables opened its barn doors in the Fall of 2007, we have been committed to providing top quality care and instruction for both horse and rider.  Whether you seek a relaxed respite in the company of a four-legged friend or a training ground to hone your skills for the show ring, Lone Star can help you to achieve your equestrian goals. Nestled within beautiful Westlake, the horses, people, and facilities of Lone Star make it a tranquil getaway just a quick 20 minute drive from the bustle of downtown.  

Lone Star Stables is proud to offer year-round lessons and boarding as well as instructional camps throughout the summer. Lesson packs are available by the month and lessons can be private, semi-private, or conducted in small groups for riders of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are learning the basics or refining your technique, Lone Star is the place to be. Horses and ponies are also available for full or half lease on a monthly basis. Our facility is equipped with an 22 stall barn, a 200' x 100' covered riding arena, a round pen, tree shaded turn-out paddocks for both day and night turn-out, a riding trail around the perimeter of the property and a climate controlled tack room and observation room.
